Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the Mercure was a great experience overall. The rooms were large, wonderfully decorated, and very comfy and spacious, equipped with convenient amenities like an electric kettle and minibar. However, the service was a bit inconsistent, with some staff not very welcoming initially although they later became very friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient to explore Batavia, although a bit far from shopping malls due to Jakarta’s traffic. Despite the minor inconveniences, the dining experience was really nice and the facilities were top-notch.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms offering a great walk-in shower. The service was super friendly and always helpful, making my experience even better. The location was near the Kota Tua area, convenient for exploring Jakarta's colonial old town. The dining experience was decent with a variety of options to choose from.
My stay at the Privilege Room was nice and perfect, with very pleasant and very large rooms. The staff was still welcomed and friendly, although the first impression wasn't as welcoming as expected. The location was very good with numerous F&B options nearby, but the restaurant experience was average to poor. The breakfast selection was great, offering a big variety of western and local food. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable, contributing to a comfortable stay.
